Art is about ideas!
Art's role in our lives is to stimulate us in various ways. Not only can a piece be aesthetically beautiful, but one that deals with underlying psychological, emotional and social issues is art in the purest sense of the word.
There is a place that lives within all of us Earth humans... a place of truth, clarity and remembering, where we are in harmony with the planet and at one with a higher consciousness.
Open your mind to possibilities, expand your awareness and dare to explore the mysteries and questions that each of us ask ourselves at some point in our lives. There is so much we don't understand in the universe, and so much more within ourselves that we have yet to discover.
Realize that every choice and decision you make in your life is really about "who you are". Every thought you have is creating your future. When this is understood, everything changes. You look at life in a defferent way. You have a new awareness, a knowing, and an intense desire to discover your "purpose" in life and make it happen.
"On such things as matter we have all been wrong... what we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter." .....Einstein
"Inherently, each one of us has the substance within to achieve whatever our goals and dreams define. What is missing from each of us are the training, education, knowledge and insight to utilize what we already have." ..... Mark Twain
The Project -
"In the summer of 2005, the project began as some doodling, sketches, words and symbols, that just kind of came to me while I was sitting at an art show. It seemed like the universe was giving me the answer to a question that I had been asking lately.... What can I do to give back to the world... to help others through my gift as an artist?"
"This was indeed an enormous project that I felt compelled to do, and took well over a year to complete. Each piece has an accompaning written statement that explains a little about the images, subject, symbols and sacred geometry, and also suggests some additional reading sources."
The art work symbolically asks the questions that everyone wants answers to... Who are we? Where do we come from? What is our purpose here? Where are we going?
